Problem Solution:

Given a path of the directory, we have to print the list of files and subdirectories of a current directory.

Program:

The source code to print the list of files and subdirectories of the current directory is given below. The given program is compiled and executed using GCC compile on UBUNTU 18.04 OS successfully.

// C program to print the list of file or sub directories
// of the current directory

#include <dirent.h>
#include <stdio.h>

int main(void)
{
    DIR* dObj;
    struct dirent* dir;

    dObj = opendir(".");

    printf("\nList of files and sub directories: \n");
    if (dObj != NULL) {
        while ((dir = readdir(dObj)) != NULL) {
            printf("%s\n", dir->d_name);
        }
        closedir(dObj);
    }

    return (0);
}

Output:

List of files and sub directories:
..
main
main.c
file1.txt
.
file2.txt

Explanation:

Here, we opened the current directory. Then printed the list of files and directories of a specified directory on the console screen.
