Problem Solution:

In this program, we will create a user-defined function without arguments. Here we will read two integer numbers from the user and print the result.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to create a user-defined function without argument but return a value is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

# Ruby program to create a user define function
# without argument but return a value

def AddNum()
    print "Enter number1: ";
    num1 = gets.chomp.to_i;

    print "Enter number2: ";
    num2 = gets.chomp.to_i;

   add = num1 + num2;
   return add;
end

print "Addition is: ",AddNum();

Output:

Enter number1: 12
Enter number2: 45
Addition is: 57

Explanation:

In the above program, we created the function AddNum() without arguments. In the AddNum() function, we read two integer numbers from the user and added both numbers, and return the result. Then we printed the result.
