Print the Boolean Variable using printf() in Scala

Here, we will create the Boolean variable and then print the value of the variable using the '%b' format specifier in the printf() function.

Scala code to print the value of the Boolean variable using printf() function

The source code to print the value of the Boolean variable using the printf() function is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on the ubuntu 18.04 operating system successfully.

// Scala program to print value of Boolean variable
// using printf() function

object Sample{
    def main(args:Array[String]){
        var boolVar1:Boolean = true
        var boolVar2:Boolean = false

        printf("boolVar1: %b\n", boolVar1)
        printf("boolVar2: %b\n", boolVar2)
    }
}

Output

boolVar1: true
boolVar2: false

Explanation

In the above program, we used an object-oriented approach to create the program. Here, we created an object Sample. We defined main() function. The main() function is the entry point for the program.

In the main() function, we created two variables boolVar1, boolVar2 that are initialized with true, false. After that, we printed the value of variables using the '%b' format specifier in the printf() function on the console screen.
