Problem Solution:

Here, we will create a user-defined function that will accept a string argument and will not return any value.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to create a function with argument but no return value is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Swift program to create a function
// with argument but no return value

import Swift

func sayHello(user:String) {
    print("Hello ",user)
}

sayHello(user:"Herry")

Output:

Hello  Herry

...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created a user-defined function sayHello(), which accepts a string argument but it does not return any value to the calling function. Then we called the sayHello() function and print the appropriate message on the console screen.
