Problem Solution:

Here, we will find the largest number between two numbers using the max() function. The max() function accepts two numbers of any type as an argument.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to find the largest number between two numbers using the max() function is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Swift program to find the largest number
// between two numbers using max() function

import Swift

var num1:Int=5
var num2:Int=10
var large:Int=0

large=max(num1,num2)

print("Largest number is: ",large)

Output:

Largest number is: 10

...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created three integer variables num1, num2, large that are initialized with 5,10,0 respectively. Then we got the largest number between two numbers using the max() function and printed the result on the console screen.
