Problem Solution:

Here, we will create a string literal that contains multiple lines. Then we will print created string literal on the console screen.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to create a multi-line string literal is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Swift program to create a
// multi-line string literal

let multiLineString = """
Indian Cricket Team:
Rohit Sharma
Virat Kohli
Shikar dhawan
Rishab Pant
K. L. Rahul
"""
print(multiLineString)

Output:

Indian Cricket Team:
Rohit Sharma
Virat Kohli
Shikar dhawan
Rishab Pant
K. L. Rahul

...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here we created a string literal multiLineString that contains multiple lines of strings. After that, we printed the literal using print() function on the console screen.
