AIAA: American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics

AIAA is an abbreviation of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. It is a most significant technical society which is based in America, devoted to the worldwide aerospace line of work and aerospace engineering.

In 1963, it was founded by the combination of two aerospace societies: the American Rocket Society (ARS) and the Institute of the Aerospace Sciences (IAS). The number of individual members it has is greater than 30,000 as of 2015, and also it has 95 corporate members. For the advantage of humanity, its objective is to move forward and encourage the future of aerospace. Its tagline mentions "Shaping the future of Aerospace" which shows its essence of objective towards Aeronautics and Astronautics.
