JCB's work is to manufacture equipment that is used in construction, agriculture, waste handling, and demolition. It has 22 factories across Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. It is the world’s third-leading manufacturer of construction equipment. It manufactures and generates over 300 types of machines like diggers, tractors, excavators and diesel engines, etc. In over 150 countries, JCBs products are sold.

In 1945, JCB was established by Joseph Cyril Bamford. The name of JCB was named after its founder Joseph Cyril Bamford. It keeps on to be possessed by the Bamford family.
