Problem Solution:

In this program, we will create two hash collections. Then we will replace the items of hash collection from another hash collection using replace() method and print the result.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to replace the items of hash collection from another hash collection is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on Windows 10 Operating System successfully.

# Ruby program to replace the items of
# hash collection from another
# hash collection

hash1 = {"101" => "Amit", "102" => "Arun", "103" => "Sumit"};
hash2 = {"104" => "Mukesh", "105" => "Mohit", "106" => "Muneet"};

puts "hash1: ",hash1;

hash1.replace(hash2);

puts "hash1: ",hash1;

Output:

hash1:
{"101"=>"Amit", "102"=>"Arun", "103"=>"Sumit"}
hash1:
{"104"=>"Mukesh", "105"=>"Mohit", "106"=>"Muneet"}

Explanation:

In the above program, we created a hash collection to store student information. Then we replaced the items of hash collection from another hash collection using replace() method and printed the result.
