Problem Solution:

Here, we will find the size of the variable using the MemoryLayout.size() method and print the result on the console screen.

The source code to print the size of variables is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

import Swift;

var var1:Int    = 10;
var var2:Float  = 10.24;
var var3:Bool   = true;

print("Size of var1  : ",MemoryLayout.size(ofValue: var1));
print("Size of var2  : ",MemoryLayout.size(ofValue: var2));
print("Size of var3  : ",MemoryLayout.size(ofValue: var3));

Output:

Size of var1  :  8
Size of var2  :  4
Size of var3  :  1

...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created three variables of different types. Then we found the size of created variables using the MemoryLayout.size() method and printed the result on the console screen.
