Here, we will learn about the Acos() method of Math class. This method is used to return an angle whose cosine is the specified number measured in radians.
Syntax:
double Math.Acos(double D);
Parameter:
- D: A double number; it must be between -1 to 1.
Return value:
It returns an angle whose cosine is the specified number measured in radians.
Program:
The source code to demonstrate the use of Acos() method of Math class is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.
using System;
class Sample
{
//Entry point of Program
static public void Main()
{
double Cosine = 0.0;
Cosine = Math.Acos(0.7);
System.Console.WriteLine("Result is: "+Cosine);
}
}
Output:
Result is: 0.795398830184144
