Python Calendar.yeardays2calendar() Method

Calendar.yeardays2calendar() method is an inbuilt method of the Calendar class of calendar module in Python. It uses an instance of this class and returns the list of the month rows for the given year, representing dates as tuples. Each month has full weeks, ie, each week has all the seven days and if suppose someday in that week is outside of that month, its date value is 0.

Each value in a week list is a tuple consisting of day numbers and weekday numbers.

Class:

    from calendar import Calendar

Syntax:

    yeardays2calendar(year, width =3)

Parameter(s):

  • year: It is a required parameter, which specifies the year of the calendar.
  • width: It is an optional parameter, which specifies the width of the month value; default value = 3.

Return value:

The return type of this method is <class 'list'>, it returns a list of month rows.
