Python Calendar.yeardayscalendar() Method

The Calendar.yeardayscalendar() method is an inbuilt method of the Calendar class of calendar module, it returns the list of the month rows for the given year. Each month has full weeks, i.e., each week has all the seven days and if suppose someday in that week is outside of that month, its value is 0. Each value in a week list represents the day of the month.

Syntax

The following is the syntax of yeardayscalendar() method:

yeardayscalendar(year, width =3)

Parameter(s)

The following are the parameter(s):

  • year: It is a required parameter, which specifies the year of the calendar.
  • width: It is an optional parameter, which specifies the width of the month value; default value = 3.

Return Value

The return type of this method is <class 'list'>, it returns a list of day numbers in the given week in a given month.
