Problem Solution:

Here, we will calculate the flooring of a double number and print the result on the console screen.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to calculate the flooring of a double number is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Swift program to calculate the flooring
// of a double number

import Swift
import Foundation

var res:Double  =   0.0

res = floor(16.234)

print("Result of flooring is: ",res)

Output:

Result of flooring is:  17.0

...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

To use mathematics and some standard functions, we need to import the foundation package using the below statement,

import Foundation;

Here, we created a double type variable res initialized with 0.0. Then we calculated the flooring of a specified number using the floor() function and printed the result on the console screen.
