Here, we will create strings and compare them using the equal to (==) operator and print appropriate messages on the console screen.

The source code to compare two strings using the equal to (==) operator is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

var str1 = "Hello World";
var str2 = "Hello World";
var str3 = "Hiii";

if(str1==str2)
{
    print("str1 and str2 are equal");
}
else
{
    print("str1 and str2 are not equal");
}
if(str1==str3)
{
    print("str1 and str3 are equal");
}
else
{
    print("str1 and str3 are not equal");
}

Output:

str1 and str2 are equal
str1 and str3 are not equal

...Program finished with exit code 0

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created three strings str1, str2, str3 with some initial values. Then we compared strings using the equal to (==) operator and printed the appropriate messages on the console screen.
