Problem Solution:

Here, we will create a variable using the var keyword without specifying the data type. This feature is known as type reference. Swift variables automatically check the type of value assigned to the variables.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to create variables with specifying data type is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Swift program to create variables
// with specifying data type

var num1 = 10;
var num2 = 20.56;

print("Num1: ",num1);
print("Num2: ",num2);

Output:

Num1:  10
Num2:  20.0

...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.

Explanation:

In the above program, we created two variables num1, num2 using the var keyword, which are initialized with 10, 20.56 respectively. After that, we printed the value of created variables on the console screen.
