Problem Solution:

Here, we will check a number is EVEN or ODD using the if statement and print the appropriate message on the console screen.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to demonstrate the if statement is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Swift program to demonstrate the if statement

var num:Int=22;

if(num%2 == 0)
{
    print("Number is EVEN");
}
if(num%2 != 0)
{
    print("Number is ODD");
}

Output:

Number is EVEN

...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created an integer variable num initialized with 22. Then we checked the number is EVEN or ODD using the if statement and printed the appropriate message on the console screen.
