Swift program to get the sin value of the given angle in radian

Problem Solution:

Here, we will get the sin value of a given angle using the sin() function. The sin() function accepts an angle in radians as Double as a parameter and returns the result to the calling function.

The source code to get the sin value of the given angle in radian is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

import Foundation

var num:Double  = 14.234
var res:Double  = 0

res = sin(num)

print("Result: ",res)

Output:

Result:  0.9953153416041931

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

To use mathematics and some standard functions, we need to import the foundation package using the below statement,

import Foundation;

Here, we created two double type variables num, res initialized with "14.234", "0.0". Then we found the sin value of the specified angle in radian and printed the result on the console screen.
