C# program to demonstrate the Inequality (!=) operator with TimeSpan structure
Here, we are going to demonstrate the Inequality (!=) operator with TimeSpan structure in C#.Net.
Submitted by Nidhi, on April 21, 2021
Here, we will learn the use of the inequality (!=) operator with an instance of TimeSpan structure. Here, Inequality '!=' operator is overloaded using operator overloading. This operator overloaded method is used to compare two instances of TimeSpan structure. If two instances are not equal then it returns true otherwise it returns false.
Syntax:
bool TimeSpan.operator!=(TimeSpan timeSpan1, TimeSpan timeSpan2);
Parameter(s):
- timeSpan1: timeSpan1 to be compared.
- timeSpan2: timeSpan2 to be compared.
Return value:
This method returns a boolean value, if two instances are not equal then it returns true. Otherwise, it returns false.
Program:
The source code to demonstrate the Inequality (!=) operator with TimeSpan structure is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.
using System;
class TimeSpanDemo
{
//Entry point of Program
static public void Main()
{
TimeSpan timespan1 = new TimeSpan(2, 0, 0);
TimeSpan timespan2 = new TimeSpan(0, 90, 0);
TimeSpan timespan3 = new TimeSpan(2, 0, 0);
if (timespan1 != timespan2)
Console.WriteLine("Both instances are not equal");
else
Console.WriteLine("Both instances are equal");
if (timespan1 != timespan3)
Console.WriteLine("Both instances are not equal");
else
Console.WriteLine("Both instances are equal");
}
}
Output:
Both instances are not equal
Both instances are equal
