C# String.Length Property

The String.Length property is used to get the total number of characters in the string object (length of the string); it calls with this string and returns the total number of characters.

Syntax

public int Length { get; }

Parameter(s)

  • None

Return Value

int – it returns total number of characters in the string/length of the string.

Example

string str = "IncludeHelp";

function call:
str.Length;

Output:
11
