ArrayDeque Class descendingIterator() method: Here, we are going to learn about the descendingIterator() method of ArrayDeque Class with its syntax and example.

ArrayDeque Class descendingIterator() method

  • descendingIterator() Method is available in java.lang package.
  • descendingIterator() Method is used to return an iterator over the deque elements in descending order.
  • descendingIterator() Method is a non-static method, it is accessible with the class object only and if we try to access the method with the class name then we will get an error.
  • descendingIterator() Method does not throw an exception at the time of returning Iterator.

Syntax:

    public Iterator<T> descendingIterator();

Parameter(s):

  • It does not accept any parameter.

Return value:

The return type of the method is Iterator<T>, it returns an iterator over the deque elements in descending order.

Example:

public class DescendingIteratorOfArrayDeque {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
