time = Time.new();
CurrentSecondOfMinute = time.strftime("%S");

print "Current second of minute is: ",CurrentSecondOfMinute;

Output

Current second of minute is: 27

Explanation

In the above program, we created the object of the Time class. Then we get the current second of the minute out of 60 using the strftime() method with "%S" as an argument and printed the result.
