Problem Solution:

Here, we will convert the string into uppercase using the uppercased() function and print the result on the console screen.

The source code to convert the string into uppercase is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

var str = "Hello World"

var result = str.uppercased()

print("Result: ",result)

Output:

Result:  HELLO WORLD

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created a string str initialized with "Hello World". Then we converted a string str into uppercase and assigned the result into the result variable. After that, we printed the result on the console screen.
