Problem Solution:

Here, we will create an array of integers with 5 elements. Then we will insert an item at a specific position.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to insert an element at a specific position in the array is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Swift program to insert an element
// at a specific position in the array

import Swift

var arr:[Int] = [10,20,30,40,50]

print("Array elements before insertion: ",arr)

arr.insert(25, at: 2)

print("Array elements after insertion: ",arr)

Output:

Array elements before insertion:  [10, 20, 30, 40, 50]
Array elements after insertion:  [10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50]

...Program finished with exit code 0
Press ENTER to exit console.

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created an integer array arr with 5 elements. Then we used the insert() function to insert item 25 at index 2. After that, we printed the array elements on the console screen.
