Problem Solution:

Here, we will create an array of integers with 5 elements. Then we will remove the last item from the array using the removeLast() function.

The source code to remove the last item from an array is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

import Swift

var arr:[Int] = [10,20,30,40,50]

let removedItem = arr.removeLast()

print("Array elements: ",arr)

print("Removed item: ",removedItem)

Output:

Array elements:  [10, 20, 30, 40]
Removed item:  50

...Program finished with exit code 0

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported a package Swift to use the print() function using the below statement,

import Swift;

Here, we created an integer array arr with 5 elements. Then we removed the last item from the array using the removeLast() function and printed the updated array on the console screen.
