Ruby program to find the cosine of given radian value

Problem Solution

In this program, we will read a radian value from the user using gets.chomp.to_f. Then we will find the cosine of the given value using the Math.cos() function.

print "Enter value in radian: ";
radian = gets.chomp.to_f;  

result = Math.cos(radian);
print "Cosine is: ",result;

Output

Enter value in radian: 12.34
Cosine is: 0.9744873987650982

Explanation

In the above program, we read a radian value from the user using gets.chomp.to_f and got the cosine of radian value using Math.cos() function and printed the result.
