Problem Solution:

In this program, we will get the current month name using strftime() method of Time class and print the result.

The source code to get the current month name using the strftime() method is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

# Ruby program to get the current month name 
# using strftime() method

time = Time.new();
MonthName = time.strftime("%B");

print "Current Month name is: ",MonthName;

Output:

Current Month name is: February

Explanation:

In the above program, we created the object of Time class, Then we got the current month name using the strftime() method with "%B" as an argument, and printed the result.
