Program/Source Code:

The source code to insert an element into the array at a specified index is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

# Ruby program to insert an element into
# array at specified index

arr = [1,2,3,4,5];

arr.insert(2,10);

print "Result:\n#{arr}";

Output:

Result:
[1, 2, 10, 3, 4, 5]

In the above program, we created an array arr with some elements. Then we inserted an item into the array at index 2 using the insert() function and printed the updated array.
