Scala – Print EVEN Number from an Array

Here, we will create an array of integer elements, and then we will find the EVEN numbers.

Scala code to find the EVEN numbers from the array

The source code to find the EVEN numbers from the array is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on the ubuntu 18.04 operating system successfully.

// Scala program to find the EVEN numbers
// from the array

object Sample {
    def main(args: Array[String]) {
        var IntArray = Array(10,11,12,13,14,15)
        var count:Int=0

        println("Even numbers are: ")
        while(count<IntArray.size)
        {
            if (IntArray(count)%2==0)
            {
                printf("%d ",IntArray(count));
            }
            count=count+1
        }

        println()
    }
}

Output

Even numbers are:
10 12 14

Explanation

In the above program, we used an object-oriented approach to create the program. We created an object Sample, and we defined main() function. The main() function is the entry point for the program.

In the main() function, we created an array IntArray and also created one more integer variable count. Then we found the EVEN numbers and printed them on the console screen.
