In this program, we will get the current day of the year out of 365 days using the strftime() method of Time class and print the result.

time = Time.new();
CurrentDayOfYear = time.strftime("%j");

print "Current day of year is: ",CurrentDayOfYear;

Output

Current day of year is: 036

Explanation

In the above program, we created the object of the Time class. Then We got the current day of the year out of 365 using the strftime() method with "%j" as an argument and printed the result.
