Problem Solution:

In this program, we will get the current meridian indicator using the strftime() method of Time class and print the result.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to get the Meridian indicator using the strftime() method is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

# Ruby program to get the Meridian indicator
# using strftime() method

time = Time.new();
MeridianIndicator = time.strftime("%p");

print "Current Meridian indicator is: ",MeridianIndicator;

Output:

Current Meridian indicator is: AM

Explanation:

In the above program, we created the object of the Time class. Then we get the current meridian indicator using the strftime() method with "%p" as an argument and printed the result.
