Problem Solution:

In this program, we will create a thread with the runnable interface. Then we will create multiple threads and get state of current thread using Thread.currentThread().getState() method.

The source code to get the state of the currently executing thread is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

      Thread.State thrdState = Thread.currentThread().getState();
      System.out.println("Thread State: " + thrdState);

}

public class Main {
  public static void main(String[] args) {
    Thread t1 = new Thread(new MyThread());
    Thread t2 = new Thread(new MyThread());
    Thread t3 = new Thread(new MyThread());

    t1.start();
    t2.start();
    t3.start();
  }
}

Output:

Thread State: RUNNABLE
Thread State: RUNNABLE
Thread State: RUNNABLE

Explanation:

In the above program, we created two classes MyThread and Main. We created MyThread class by implementing the Runnable interface.

The Main class contains a main() method. The main() method is the entry point for the program. Here, we created the three threads and get the current state of the thread using the Thread.currentThread().getState() method in the run() method and printed the result.
