Problem Solution:

In this program, we will check whether a class is declared as an enum or not using the isEnum() method and print the appropriate message.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to check whether a class is declared as enum or not is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Java program to check whether a class is declared
// as an enum or not

enum A {
  RED,
  GREEN,
  BLUE;
}

public class Main {
  public static void main(String[] args) throws ClassNotFoundException {
    Class cls1 = A.class;
    Class cls2 = Main.class;

    if (cls1.isEnum())
      System.out.println("The cls1 is representing a Enum");
    else
      System.out.println("The cls1 is not representing a Enum");

    if (cls2.isEnum())
      System.out.println("The cls2 is representing an Enum");
    else
      System.out.println("The cls2 is not representing an Enum");
  }
}

Output:

The cls1 is representing an Enum
The cls2 is not representing an Enum

Explanation:

In the above program, we created a public class Main that contains a main() method. The main() method is the entry point for the program. Here, we checked whether a class is declared as an enum or not using the isEnum() method and printed the appropriate message.
