Problem Solution:

In this program, we will create a list using the LinkedList collection with some elements. Then we will remove the last occurrence of the specified item using the removeLastOccurrence() method.

The removeLastOccurrence() method returns true on successful removal of the item. Otherwise, it returns false.

The source code to remove the last occurrence of the specified item from the LinkedList is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

    if (list.removeLastOccurrence("TWO"))

Output:

List Items: 
[1, TWO, 3, FOUR, TWO, true, THREE]

Last occurrence of 'TWO' is removed

Updated List: 
[1, TWO, 3, FOUR, true, THREE]

Explanation:

In the above program, we imported the "java.util.LinkedList" package to use the LinkedList collection class. Here, we created a class Main. The Main class contains a main() method. The main() method is the entry point for the program.

In the main() method, we created a list using the LinkedList collection and added items using add() method. Then we removed the last occurrence of item "TWO" from LinkedList using the removeLastOccurrence("TWO") method and printed the result.
