Calculating the reverse of the given number in Golang

Problem Solution:

In this program, we will read an integer number and find it's reverse and then print the reverse value on the console screen.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to calculate the reverse of the given number using the for loop is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

Golang code to calculate the reverse of the given number using the for loop

// GoLang program to calculate the reverse of the given number
// using the "for" loop.

package main

import "fmt"

func main() {
	var num int = 0
	var rev int = 0
	var rem int = 0

	fmt.Print("Enter Number: ")
	fmt.Scanf("%d", &num)

	for num > 0 {
		rem = num % 10
		rev = rev*10 + rem
		num = num / 10
	}

	fmt.Printf("Reverse of number: %d", rev)
}

Output:

Enter Number: 12345
Reverse of number: 54321

Explanation:

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.

In the main() function, we created three variables num, rev, rem that are initialized with 0. Then we read an integer number from the user and calculated the reverse of number. After that printed the result on the console screen.
