C++ STL array::get function template

get function template is used to get the ith elements of an array.

Syntax

get<index>(array_name);

Parameter(s)

array_name

Return value

Returns element from the given index.

Sample Input and Output

Input or array declaration:
array<int,5> arr {10, 20, 30, 40, 50};

Function call:
get<0>(arr);

Output:
10

Example

C++ STL program to get the elements of an array using array:get function template:

#include <array>
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;

int main() {
  array<int, 5> arr{10, 20, 30, 40, 50};

  cout << "element at index 0: " << get<0>(arr) << endl;
  cout << "element at index 1: " << get<1>(arr) << endl;
  cout << "element at index 2: " << get<2>(arr) << endl;
  cout << "element at index 3: " << get<3>(arr) << endl;
  cout << "element at index 4: " << get<4>(arr) << endl;

  return 0;
}

Output

element at index 0: 10
element at index 1: 20
element at index 2: 30
element at index 3: 40
element at index 4: 50
