Golang Example of an Array

Problem Solution:

In this program, we will create an integer array then assign elements to the array. After that, we will print array elements on the console screen.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to demonstrate the example of an Array is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

Golang code to demonstrate the example of an Array

// Golang program to demonstrate
// the example of an Array

package main

import "fmt"

func main() {
	var arr [5]int

	arr[0] = 1
	arr[1] = 2
	arr[2] = 3
	arr[3] = 4
	arr[4] = 5

	fmt.Println("Array elements:")
	for i := 0; i <= 4; i++ {
		fmt.Printf("%d ", arr[i])
	}
}

Output:

Array elements:
1 2 3 4 5

Explanation:

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.

In the main() function, we created an integer array arr of 5 elements. Then we assigned the elements to that array. After that, we printed the array elements using the for loop on the console screen.
