C# program to demonstrate the use of Port property of Uri class

Here, we are going to demonstrate the use of Port property of Uri class in C#.Net.

Here, we will learn about the Port property of Uri class. This is an instance property of Uri class which used to get port number from Uri.

This property returns an integer value to represent the port number on which given Uri is running. This property may generate System.InvalidOperationException exception.

Program:

The source code to demonstrate the use of Port property of Uri class is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

{

    static public void Main()
    {
        Uri domainUri;

        domainUri = new Uri("http://www.includehelp.com:8082?Query1=101&Query2=102");

In the above program, we created an object of Uri class and gets port number from passed Uri using Port property.
