C# program to demonstrate the use of Seconds property of TimeSpan structure

Here, we are going to demonstrate the use of Seconds property of TimeSpan structure in C#.Net.
Submitted by Nidhi, on April 19, 2021

Here, we will learn about the Seconds property of TimeSpan. This property is read-only which is used to represent Seconds in given ticks. Here we create an object of TimeSpan and initialized with ticks. Then we can get minutes of given ticks using the Seconds property.

Syntax:

int TimeSpan.Seconds;

Return value:

This property returns an integer value that represents the number of seconds in given ticks of the current instance of the TimeSpan structure.

Program:

The source code to demonstrate the use of Seconds property of TimeSpan structure is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

using System;

class TimeSpanDemo
{
    //Entry point of Program
    static public void Main()
    {
        TimeSpan timeSpan = new TimeSpan(10000000 * 10);
        Console.WriteLine("Seconds in given ticks:"+ timeSpan.Seconds);
    }
}

Output:

Seconds in given ticks:10
