Implement the for loop as a for each loop in Golang

Problem Solution:

In this program, we will use the for loop as a for each loop access strings from string array one by one and print on the console screen.

Program/Source Code:

The source code to demonstrate the for loop as a for each loop is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

Golang code to implement the for loop as a for each loop

// Golang program to demonstrate the "for" loop
// as a for each loop.

package main

import "fmt"

func main() {
	counties := []string{"india", "australia", "USA", "UK"}

	fmt.Println("County Names:")
	for index, val := range counties {
		fmt.Println(index, val)
	}
}

Output:

County Names:
0 india
1 australia
2 USA
3 UK

Explanation:

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.

In the main() function, we used access county names using the for loop one by one just like the for each loop and printed on the console screen.
